Somewhere along the way, sweets got lost — replaced by shiny boxes and refined sugar.

Gud Laachi began as a rebellion against that.

A promise that indulgence can still be pure, that health and heritage can share the same plate.

Every creation is slow-crafted in small batches, using ingredients your grandmother would recognize — jaggery, ghee, cardamom, dry fruits, and love. Always love.

I started Gud Laachi because somewhere along the way, our traditional sweets lost their essence.
What was once made with jaggery, ghee, nuts, and love is now replaced by artificial flavours, refined sugar, and preservatives.

I wanted to bring back sweets that nourish — not harm. The kind our grandmothers made, where every ingredient had purpose and purity.
Gud Laachi is my small attempt to make sure celebrations no longer come with guilt, only with love, blessings, and the comfort of knowing what’s on your plate is good for you.
